Located near Avalon, this standard deck girder bridge crosses Carvers Rock Road and Spring Creek.
Built in 1906, the bridge consists of a single deck plate girder span, set onto concrete abutments. The span also contains a ballasted deck, typical of Milwaukee Road bridges.
This span likely replaced an older trestle bridge. Numerous spans such as this were constructed across North America.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with no significant deteriorated noted.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design. The photo above is an overview.
